Dr. Madison Barnes - Veterinarian
Born and raised in Akron, Ohio, Dr. Madison Barnes earned her undergraduate degree from Kent State University in 2014 with a double major in biology and psychology.
She then went on to graduate from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2018.
While her main passion is companion animal general medicine and surgery, she also enjoys working with various wildlife species. Upon graduation from veterinary school, she obtained her wildlife rehabilitation certification and completed additional training through the World Aquatics Veterinary Medical Association to become a certified aquatic veterinarian (CertAqV).
When not working, Dr. Barnes enjoys spending her time with her fiancé, Matthew, and two rescue pups, Laila (Beagle mix) and Rosie (Saint Bernard). One of her favorite activities includes watching the Great British Bake off while eating tons of pastries from various bakeries. She is also a devoted Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns football fan.
