Dr. Rhonda Windham is excited to join 5 Points Animal Hospital and provide her medical expertise to local pets in East Nashville.
Originally from San Francisco, Dr. Windham graduated from The University College Dublin, in Ireland in 2006, and then completed an internship at Fifth Avenue Veterinary Specialist in NYC. After her internship, she worked for several years as a forensic veterinarian at the ASPCA, where she was an advocate for abused and neglected animals in court.
Dr. Windham has a special interest in feline medicine and integrative medicine and is a certified fear-free practitioner. She is also a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners and has been trained at The Chi Institute in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM), which includes veterinary acupuncture.
When she's not caring for your pets she enjoys baking, going to concerts and listening to live music, and playing Cornhole. She also enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband Mike and their shelter dog Marshall.
