Dr. Tara Read - Veterinarian

Dr. Tara Read joined 5 Points Animal Hospital in November 2023.

She grew up in Pennsylvania, graduated with her undergraduate degree from The University of Delaware, and then followed her family to Tennessee where she attended The University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She has practiced in several practices across Tennessee since then, both in general practice and emergency medicine, and is excited to be apart of 5 Points Animal Hospital and the East Nashville community. Her special interests include internal medicine and management of chronic diseases.

Dr. Read has a husband who coaches soccer and 3 active children, so most of her free time is spent at one sporting event or another. She really enjoys traveling, Nashville SC games, and spending time with her family. She has 3 dogs, 1 cat, a leopard gecko, and a guinea pig.
